A bar chart shows the proportion of renewable energy in the total energy of three periods in

four countries. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and
make comparisons where relevant

The chart illustrates the percentage of renewable resource from total energy , which were
divided into three time frames every 4 years, from 2000 to 2007, and four different countries.

Overall, for 7 years period of time, Norway and Germany percentage were increase, while
Australia and Iceland experienced a slight decrease in the last period.

According to the bar chart, in 2000 Norway’s proportion was accounted about three-fifths,
making it the highest, and followed by Iceland with around a half. On the next 4 years, both
increased about by 2 and 5 percent respectively. 4 years later, Norway proportion increased
rapidly nearly 80%, while Iceland decreased about by 2%.

Looking into more details, Australia and Germany also experienced a small increase, from 9 and
12 percent to about by 10 and 15 percent respectively. On the last time frames on these
periods, Germany still continued its positive trend, while Australia declined.
