Subject: AMENDMENT TO OUA MEMORANDUM 16-0721-0735

ENTITLED NATIONAL VIRTUAL ORIENTATION ON THE USE
OF THE DEPED SPORTS MANUAL FOR SPORTS MANAGERS
AND OFFICERS

This has reference to the enclosed Office of the Undersecretary for Administration
(OUA) Memorandum 16-0721-0735 dated 15 July 2021 entitled National Virtual
Orientation on the Use of the DepEd Sports Manual for Sports Managers and Officers.

In connection, the OUA, through the Bureau of Learner Support Services-

School Sports Division (BLSS-SSD), issues this amendment to the aforementioned
memorandum for guidance and reference of all concerned.

The official title of the activity will be the National Virtual Orientation on
the Implementation of Sports Club as reflected in the approved Authority to
Conduct (ATe).

Moreover, due to the unavailability of resource speakers and with the

conduct of similarly significant activities by the Department that will coincide with
this Orientation, the date of the Orientation and its corresponding regions and
participants shall be rescheduled as follows:

Subject: NATIONAL VIRTUAL ORIENTATION ON THE USE OF THE

DEPED SPORTS MANUAL FOR SPORTS MANAGERS AND
OFFICERS

In support to the Department's programs on school sports, particularly the

implementation of sports clubs in public schools, the Office of the Undersecretary
for Administration (OUA), through the Bureau of Learner Support Services-School
Sports Division (I31,SS-SSD), shall conduct the National Virtual Orientation on
the Use of the DepEd Sports Manual for Sports Managers and Officers.

The Orientation aims to orient the sports managers and officers in the regions
and schools divisions regarding the DepEd Sports Manual and to provide a better
understanding on the sports club in general such as the framework, implementation,
management, among others.

Target participants are the regional sports officers (RSOs), division Sports
officers (DSOs), school heads/ principals, and sports club coordinators involved in
the management of sports clubs in their respective schools.

The schedule of the Orientation and its corresponding regions and

participants are as follows:
