2-3 . SECURITY
• The electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician, respecting the
national or european safety and hygiene regulations.
Before using your MH 2200 horizontal blender for the first time, carry out the following steps:
• To adjust the chain tension, slaken and slide the nylon roller as
required. Re-tighten.
• Before turning the power on, check that there are no foreign
bodies left in the equipment (lifting tackle, tools, wrapings,
etc.).
• Check that all protection covers are in place and correctly
tightened.
• Ensure that the thermal motor protections are correctly
calibrated to the values indicated on each motor.
• When looked at from above, the outside spiral should turn in the direction that pushes the
flour towards the output spout. If this is not the case, inverse two of the phase leads after

IV - MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
4-1 . SECURITY PROCEDURE
• Before carrying out any work on any part of this unit, ensure that the shutdown procedure
explained in page 2 has been fully respected. Read any specific information supplied with
the control panel.
4-2 . MAINTENANCE
• Oil, or grease, the chain every 20 hours running time. The bearings are sealed and greased
for life, and therefore need no maintenance.
• Shake the decompression sleeve regularly to knock the dust from it.
• The bearings holding the blender shaft can be adjusted vertically. The height has been
adjusted in the factory to ensure almost complete emptying, and at the same ensuring that
the spirals do not rub on the bottom of the body. After maintenance operations that may
alter this position, check that the spirals touch nowhere inside the body. Any rubbing will
rapidly destroy both body and spirals.
