Topic : “Digital Governance to Accelerate Development”

The Industrial Revolution became the basis for the establishment of the Digitalization pillar, which is a
massive change in manufacturing and technology. Then this is what makes human life easier than before.
We all know that today is an era where all technology is used, from work, study and communication.
Where life is currently formed from the results of fictional opinions directed by the "media". so this is
digitalization that controls life in this day and age.

Digitalization plays an important role in the development of global infrastructure in the trade, education,
government and health sectors. therefore France recognizes the need for strong international cooperation
in enhancing and perfecting digital access, which France is looking forward to discussing on this topic at
the upcoming conference.

According to the World Bank in 2022, nearly 3 billion people in the world still remain offline, most without
access concentrated in developing countries. And the usage gap remains a challenge. Nearly half (43
percent) of the world's population did not use mobile internet last year, despite living in an area with
mobile broadband coverage. In short there is a shortage of Human Resources in digital expertise.

France is also concerned and worried about this because in our opinion it is the people of this world who
drive media and technology and if the use of technology is minimal then digital governance will always be
hampered, for this it is necessary to discuss this together globally.

France is one of the leading EU countries with growing economies and some of the largest digital
business opportunities in the entire EU. It is also one of the giants of the technology world, with some of
the world's largest manufacturers and a rapid rate of digitization. France's digital transformation focuses
on three pillars: government, economy and security.

Not only does it want to prioritize its country's interests, but France is basically very enthusiastic about
addressing this topic, namely realizing practices related to digital governance to accelerate development.

Solutions that France can offer include the following:

1. Increasing digital literacy in every corner of the region

2. Build trust in the use of digital platforms and services among people, governments and businesses
3. Discuss the manufacture of technology tools that are easy and efficient

4. Strengthen technology device data privacy protection

By implementing these practices, more communities will achieve a higher standard of living through safe
access to technology, so that global digital development can be more fully realized.
