1. How is information technology affecting our lives, globally?

Information technology greatly contributed to the progress of the world.
The advances in technology helps our world fairer, easier to live in, and better.
Digital advances of this era can support the world in acheving the 17 Sustainable
Development Goals which includes no poverty, zero hunger, and many goals
(United Nations, 2015). Using the advances in information technologies
contributes in beter data pooling and synchornization which makes the
communication between countries and people around the world better that
could lead to a more peaceful world. Social media today have been stronger than
ever as it current connect more than half of the entire global population. People
can learn and talk to people from another country and enables people to make
their voices louder and more meaningful.

2. How is information technology affecting our lives, in society?

 Information technology in the modern era have become a big part of our
lives. Some people may even exclaim that they cannot live a day without their
phones and social media. Many traditionists have pointed out several
disadvantages of this kind of lifestyle; however they cannot deny the influence
and help of information technology in todays world. Society have become more
independent in computers and in the internet through the years – businesses,
government, education, and almost everything that the society have. There are
several benefits of a technology-driven society such as its benefits in the business
industry. Since information technology helped in the digitalization of various
processes and operations in business, it have been easier to produce goods and
deliver it to consumers making it cheaper and better. Due to the improvements
in IT, the people or the society was granted with cost efficacy, globalization,
communication, and new jobs creation.

3. How is information technology affecting our lives and in the current era?

Information technology have become the foundation of the human life

and work in this era. Many people and jobs greatly depend on technology; All
offices, corporations, and stores are now running on technology-driven
operations. This is especially true during the COVID-19 pandemic where
everyone were put off to stay and work from home. Even today where the
pandemic has been coming to an end, many people still like the option of
working from home and just connecting to their office using their laptops,
smartphones, and the internet. Education, most importantly, have opened up
and embraced this kind of setup. Ten years ago, we wouldn’t not even dream of
working and studying at home yet we are here. The advances in information
technology have provided us increasdewed efficiency, productivity, flexibility,
mobility, connectivity, and we have now greater access to information.
