You may be thinking that this is absolutely ridiculous. I know many people read the titles
of articles like this one and turn their heads and scoff, immediately shutting down the
possibility that these could be actual photos of extraterrestrial beings. Why do we hold
onto our views so staunchly, at the expense of logic and reason? What prevents us
from considering new ideas and new ways of viewing the world? So much new
information is emerging every day which challenges the current accepted framework of
knowledge, and it can be difficult for our opinions to evolve as quickly as the science.
Nonetheless, this is an extremely important topic, especially with the recent disclosures of
Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) by various governments and defence intelligence
agencies, and we must work past our reluctance to accept new ideas. These objects are
constantly photographed and tracked on radar, as well as visually confirmed by the pilots
who are sent out to see them, and we would be foolish to discount this kind of evidence.
For example, here is one (out of thousands) of documents detailing encounters with
UFOs. In this case, like many others, both of the F-4 interceptor pilots reported seeing the
object visually; it was also tracked on their airborne radar. Both planes experienced
critical instrumentation and electronics going offline at a distance of twenty-five miles from
the object. Here is an excerpt from the report:

As the F-4 approached a range of 25 nautical miles it lost all instrumentation and communications. When
the F-4 turned away from the object and apparently was no longer a threat to it, the aircraft regained all
instrumentation and communications. Another brightly lighted object came out of the original object. The
second object headed straight toward the F4. (source)
A photo taken by two Royal Canadian Air Force pilots on August 27th, 1957, in McCleod,
Alberta, Canada is another example of such evidence.  The pilots were flying in a
formation of four F86 Sabre jet aircraft. One of the pilots described the phenomenon as a
“bright light which was sharply defined as disk-shaped” and which looked like “a shiny
silver dollar sitting horizontal.” Another pilot managed to photograph the object, as you
can see above.

There are a number of studies published in reputable peer-reviewed journals analyzing

these cases. This specific sighting lasted for a couple of minutes, and the case was
analyzed by Dr. Bruce Maccabee, who estimated (from available data) the luminosity of
the object (the power output within the spectral range of the film) to be many megawatts.
The Sturrock Panel also found that a strong magnetic field surrounding the phenomenon
or object was a common occurrence:

If it does indeed turn out that there is relevant physical evidence, if this evidence is carefully collected and
analyzed, and if this analysis leads to the identification of several facts concerning the UFO phenomenon,
then will be the time for scientists to step back and ask, what are these facts trying to tell us? If those facts
are strong enough to lead to a firm conclusion, then will be the time to confront the more bizarre questions.
If, for instance, it turns out that all physical evidence is consistent with a mundane interpretation of the
causes of UFO reports, there will be little reason to continue to speculate about the role of extraterrestrial
beings. If, on the other hand, the analysis of physical evidence turns up very strong evidence that objects
related with UFO reports were manufactured outside the solar system, then one must obviously consider
very seriously that the phenomenon involves not only extraterrestrial vehicles but probably also

NASA, and for his work at SRI International on the network information center for
ARPANET, a precursor to the modern Internet, also published a paper in the Journal of

of the UFO phenomenon; whether or not they are extraterrestrial is a completely

Possible Extraterrestrial Beings?

What do you think extraterrestrial would look like?  Evolutionary biologist Simon Conway
Morris, best known for his study on the Cambrian explosion, believes extraterrestrials are
real and that they will look like humans. You can read more about that here.

The picture to your left was released by a professor by the name of Bruno Sammaciccia.
A Catholic historian with degrees in psychology and psychiatry, he was the author of
more than 100 books and a well-known, distinguished figure in Italian academic circles.
He is thought to have taken this photograph of an alleged 10 foot tall extraterrestrial being
in Italy in 1976.

If you read the lore, there are many stories of a mysterious group of extraterrestrials who
look like humans and who established underground bases in Italy, meeting with local
residents between 1956 and 1978.

Not long before his death, Sammaciccia claimed he had had direct physical contact with
extraterrestrials over several decades. Dr. Roberto Pinotti, a leading Italian UFOlogist,
has since confirmed his decades-long knowledge of the Sammaciccia cases. When it
comes to human extraterrestrial contact in modern history, this case ranks among the
most compelling, given the pictures and the number of witnesses involved.

Here is a brief summary of the Sammaciccia contact story as given by UFO researcher
Dr. Michael Salla (founder of exopolitics.org):

In 1956 when Bruno Sammaciccia and two friends met with two mysterious individuals who said they were
extraterrestrials. One was over 8 foot tall while the other was just over 3 foot. Sammaciccia and his friends,
initially skeptical, were eventually taken into a large underground base where they saw more of the alleged
extraterrestrials. They also saw their children being educated, some of the advanced technologies they
used, and their space ships. Finally convinced that they were really having physical contact with
extraterrestrials, Sammaciccia and his friends began to help the extraterrestrials. They began with material
support by arranging for truckloads of fruit, food and other material to be transported and unloaded at an
extraterrestrial base. Eventually, two truckloads of supplies were being delivered every month to bases in
different regions of Italy where Sammaciccia and his assistants lived.
Sammaciccia finally described a violent conflict between two factions of extraterrestrials trying to influence
humanity’s development and future. While his ‘Friendship’ faction promoted cosmic unity and ethical
development, the other faction promoted technological development at all cost. This led to periodic violent
clashes between the factions. Eventually, the underground bases of Sammaciccia’s extraterrestrial friends
was destroyed in 1978. Survivors had to leave the Earth but promised to return at a future time when
humanity was ready for a more ethical future of humanity interacting with extraterrestrials.
Sammaciccia’s astounding story sounds like an episode from Star Trek, but it is well supported by
documentary evidence, some of Italy’s finest UFO researchers, and first hand witnesses of the events
described. Some of the witnesses were leading statesmen, scholars and high society figures from Italy
and Europe.
Below is a lecture given by one of the world’s foremost researchers of this topic, Timothy
Good. He goes into detail about this supposed encounter, as well as many others.
 To the left you will see a
picture that was given to the world by Phil Schneider.

Phil was a very controversial figure, as was his death. He was born in 1947 and was the
son of Oscar and Sally Schneider. Oscar was a Captain in the United States Navy who
apparently worked in nuclear medicine and helped design the first nuclear submarines.
He was also supposedly part of the famous ‘Philadelphia Experiment,’ as well
as Operation Crossroads, a program to test nuclear weapons.

Oscar Schneider is the gentleman to the right of the man with the red circle around his
head. Phil (man in the video below, apparently Oscars son,  and Oscar appear to
resemble each other quite strongly. The man with the circle around his head is the
supposed extraterrestrial. The others are apparently some of the world’s top physicists
from the time.
Philip claimed to be an ex-government structural engineer who was involved in building
underground military bases (DUMB) around the country. We’ve actually published a

Phil had some incredible stories to tell about various moments in his life, one of which
was the story of how he lost two fingers and had his body sliced open. While all of this is
anecdotal and unverifiable, it is interesting to consider nonetheless, perhaps his missing
fingers and the big scar on his body (as shown in the video) are from something else.

Phil passed away shortly after beginning to give lectures on the nature of his work. To  this

‘Superhuman’ Abilities Show Scientists What We

It’s fascinating to consider just how many ancient teachings tell us that humans have the
capacity to gain extraordinary powers through various techniques. Some of these
techniques, known as siddhis in the yoga tradition (from the Sanskrit, meaning
“perfection”), include meditation, static dancing, drumming, praying, fasting, psychedelics,
and more.

In Buddhism, for example, the existence of advanced powers is readily acknowledged; in

fact, Buddha expected his disciples to be able to attain these abilities, but also to not
become distracted by them.

A Professor of Buddhist and Tibetan Studies at the University of Michigan, Donald Lopez
Jr., describes the many abilities ascribed to Buddha:

With this enlightenment, he was believed to possess all manner of supernormal powers, including full
knowledge of each of his own past lives and those of other beings, the ability to know others’ thoughts, the
ability to create doubles of himself, the ability to rise into the air and simultaneously shoot fire and water
from his body. . . . Although he passed into nirvana at the age of eighty-one, he could have lived “for an
aeon or until the end of the aeon” if only he had been asked to do so. (source)
Again, there are numerous historical anecdotes of people with, as the Institute of Noetic
Sciences calls them, ‘extended human capacities.” Since this article is focused on
Buddhist monks, here is another example from the lore as written by Swami Rama
in Living with the Himalayan Masters:

I had never before seen a man who could sit still without blinking his eyelids for eight to ten hours, but this
adept was very unusual. He levitated two and a half feet during his meditations. We measured this with a
string, which was later measured by a foot rule. I would like to make it clear, though, as I have already told
you, that I don’t consider levitation to be a spiritual practice. It is an advanced practice of pranayama with
application of bandeaus (locks). One who knows about the relationship between mass and weight
understands that it is possible to levitate, but only after long practice. . .
He (also) had the power to transform matter into different forms, like changing a rock into a sugar cube.
One after another the next morning he did many such things. He told me to touch the sand – and the grains
of sand turned into almonds and cashews. I had heard of this science before and knew its basic principles,
but I had hardly believed such stories. I did not explore this field, but I am fully acquainted with the

A lot of these stories exist within the literature and lore, but they are just stories, up to the
readers to decide if they hold any actually credibility. Of course, one who subscribes  to
various ancient teachings would be more inclined to believe that these are more than just
stories and tales. With science shedding light on the possible truths of ancient mysticism,
it’s not implausible to think that, at one time, these abilities were more common
knowledge.

Today, there have been a number of studies within the realms of parapsychology that
have yielded statistically significant results, especially when examining the findings that’ve
come from quantum physics. This is why Max Planck, the theoretical physicist who
originated quantum theory, stated that he “regards consciousness as fundamental” and
that he regarded “matter as derivative from consciousness.” He also wrote that “we
cannot get behind consciousness” and that “everything that we talk about, everything that
we regard as existing postulates consciousness.” And the Dalai Lama has supported this
viewpoint:

Broadly speaking, although there are some differences, I think Buddhist philosophy and Quantum
Mechanics can shake hands on their view of the world. We can see in these great examples the fruits of
human thinking. Regardless of the admiration we feel for these great thinkers, we should not lose sight of
the fact that they were human beings just as we are. (source)
R.C. Henry, Professor of Physics of Physics and Astronomy at John Hopkins University,
explains things further:

A fundamental conclusion of the new physics also acknowledges that the observer creates the reality. As
observers, we are personally involved with the creation of our own reality. Physicists are being forced to
admit that the universe is a “mental” construction. Pioneering physicist Sir James Jeans wrote: “The stream
of knowledge is heading toward a non-mechanical reality; the universe begins to look more like a great
thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of
matter, we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter. Get over it, and accept the

Harvard And The Himalayan Monks

During a visit to remote monasteries in the 1980s, Harvard Professor of Medicine Herbert
Benson and his team of researchers studied monks living in the Himalayan Mountains
who could, by g Tum-mo (a yoga technique), raise the temperatures of their fingers and
toes by as much as 17 degrees. It is still unknown how the monks are able to generate

And it doesn’t stop there — the researchers also studied advanced meditators in Sikkim,
India, where they were astonished to find that these monks could lower their metabolism
by 64 percent.(source)
In 1985, the Harvard research team made a video of monks drying cold, wet sheets with
body heat alone. Monks spending winter nights 15,000 feet high in the Himalayas is also
not uncommon.

These are truly remarkable feats, and not the first time science has examined humans
who can do extraordinary things. We published an article a couple of months ago
