performs when it boots up and is stored in the ROM BIOS on the motherboard. Once
the computer is switched on, POST begins to test the hardware of your PC that

III. Essay:

1. Why do we need to set the computer to boot from the CD-ROM drive?
For us to be able to use our device to complete various tasks, we must configure the
computer to boot from the CD-ROM drive or any other bootable media, such as USB
drives. These tasks includes: recovering our data from unforeseen issues or update
errors. If there are updates that didn't go through or weren't completely completed,
we may be able to execute recoveries through recovery images with the use of
bootable disks. This is possible with Windows 8 and 10 OS. Returning from the
previous functional state. We can also restore their OS to its previous operating form
by using bootable DVDs. When updates fail or anything happens to the device,
errors may happen. Reformat the device and performing clean installation. When we
want to reformat their disk and performs clean installation, bootable disks could be
of great use.
