Course Content
Based on the Continuum Course „Orthodontic“ Prof.
Sato developed the „Sato Advanced Orthodontics“.
This course addresses to graduates of the Continu-
um course „Orthodontics“. It offers the opportunity to
deepen the knowledge finding answers and solving pro-
blems to complex cases on a theoretical and practial
basis. Additional the exchange and discussion between
the group is one main focus.The purpose of this course
is to support dentists, with focus on Orthodontics in a
more detailed and individual way, acquire solutions to-
gether, which then can be applied in their daily work.

Advanced Orthodontics
The main benefits of this course are:

matic and occlusal science

Prof. Dr. Sadao Sato is an inter-
national highly recognized speci-
alist in the field of orthodontics. In
1979 he became Assistant Pro-
fessor in Kanagawa Dental Col-
lege, in 1989 he was appointed
Associate Professor. In 1996
he became Professor in Ka-
nagawa Dental College
(Orthodontics) and later on Dean

Prof. Sadao Sato
of Kanagawa Dental College. Between 1991 and 2001
Prof. Sato was President of Japan MEAW technique
and research foundation. From 1992 onwards until to-
day he has been member of the Angle Society of Ortho-
dontics. Prof. Sato has been Guest-Professor in Austria
for more than 15 years now. Since many years he has
been course director of the VieSID Continuum „Ortho-
dontics in Craniofacial Dysfunctions“.
