REACTION PAPER: ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
Administrative management is planning and controlling an organization's whole
structure. It entails keeping an eye on an organization's daily operations to ensure
ongoing continuity in today’s fast-paced environment. It involves establishing an
appropriate hierarchy of authority, identifying each person's primary duties, and
allocating tasks within the business. The ability to manage information via people is a
vital function for every company. Administrative managers monitor data flow inside the
company to ensure that all resources are used effectively for increased production.
According to Henri Fayol, there are 14 basic principles of administrative
management. Still, the use of a structured organizational structure/hierarchy of authority,
a distinct division of labor, and the delegation of power and authority to administrators
appropriate to their areas of duties constitute the fundamental elements of administrative
management. This is so that management can assign tasks to organization members to
advance an organization toward its aims or goals. The output of each employee will help
the organization reach its objectives if management ensures that all operations are
planned effectively. If authority is delegated correctly, the organization will have strong
leadership, resulting in high company performance.
