Code of Ethics: Article V and Article VI

1. What is your responsibility regarding confidential information?

 As a teacher my responsibility is to hold inviolate all confidential information concerning
associates and the school, and shall not divulge to anyone documents which has not
been officially released, or remove records from the files without permission.

2. In times of controversies affecting the learners, the school or the profession, what should be
your stand as a teacher? Why?
 My stand is the profession. Because teachers should always take responsibility for the
sake of the learners.

3. What is your obligation to the school and the administration you work with?
 My obligation as a teacher is to make my duties to make an honest effort to understand
and support the legitimate policies of the school and the administration regardless of
personal feeling or private opinion and shall faithfully carry them out.

4. You have the right to seek redress against injustice to the administration, how are you going
to do that?
 To seek redress against injustice to the administration I shall avoid jeopardizing the
interest and the welfare of learners whose right to learn must be respected.

5. What is your obligation as a contractual teacher?

 My obligation as a contractual teacher to live up to my contract, assuming full
knowledge of employment terms and conditions.
