Hello, readers! I feel I ought to apologize for not writing my regular
celebrity blog last week, but I was on holiday in Paris, and as far as I
know there weren’t any celebrities there for me to interview! Anyway,
I’ve been back at my desk in London for a week now, and on my
very first day back I managed to interview the American film star,
Holly Spencer. We met in Covent Garden at The Ivy, one of London’s
most exclusive restaurants.
First, I asked her if she was enjoying being in London. She said she
was having a great time here. She told me that she loved spending
her time walking in the parks and visiting the markets in London. She
said she was staying at her favourite hotel in Covent Garden, which
is very convenient for all the shops. She thinks the shops in London
are amazing and she confessed that she had spent a fortune on new
clothes over the weekend.
I also asked her if her boyfriend (the actor, Brad Morgan) had
accompanied her on her trip to London this time. To my surprise,
she said that they had broken up recently. When I asked her
why they had reached the decision to end their relationship, she
explained that they had been drifting apart for some time, but that
they had separated on friendly terms. She said she was enjoying

When I asked her if she could tell me anything about the film she
was working on in London, she replied that she had been told by
the film company not to reveal too much about it to journalists. She
mentioned that it was set in London during the nineteenth century
and that her co-star was the award-winning British actor Sam
Kapoor, but she refused to say any more about it. When I asked
her when it would be released, she said she wasn’t sure, but she
thought it would probably come out in about two years’ time.
A funny thing happened just after our interview had finished. I
had just come out onto the street when I saw a glamorous young
couple getting out of a taxi in front of the restaurant. I immediately
recognized them. To my surprise, the woman was the British actress
Samantha Taylor, and the man was none other than Holly Spencer’s
ex-boyfriend, Brad Morgan! They were holding hands and laughing
as they made their way into the restaurant. Fortunately, Holly had left
the restaurant before me. I wonder what would have happened if
Brad and Samantha had arrived five minutes earlier and met Holly on
her way out!
