1.3 Statement of the Problem

Problem 1: Showcasing Products

Documents Involved:
 Product list – List of products that will present on the customer

Scenario:
When they want to show the products, they cannot show it due to lack of
equipment and all they do is give the information one by one or its
specifications. The transaction takes longer because they put together
another show of their products that the client will like.

Cause:
 If the product fails to attract the customers, they are forced to look
for a new product or higher specifications at a lower cost which is
also within their budget.

Impact:
 Low numbers of customers
 Time-consuming

Problem 2: Manual selling proposal product

Documents Involved:
 Product list – List of products that will present on the customer
 Product proposal – This proposal will send to potential customer

Scenario:
When they are selling the product, the business needs to send email one by
one to the customer. And it depends who will buy, so if the customer didn’t
buy they will send again another proposal email to another potential
customer that would buy their products.

Cause:
 This consumes a lot of time for the staff of the business, because
they’re manually sending email proposal for their products one by
one.

Impact:
 Low number of customers
 Time-consuming
 Loss for potential customer

Quantification

Total time consumed for showing all products = 1 to 2 hours

Breakdown for the time consumed:

Searching the products that customer wants = 15-30 minutes

Searching and giving the information of the product = 30 minutes- 1 hour

Giving more alternative items that match to the information of that product
= 15-30 minutes

3.2 Alternative No. 2: (Mobile Application Set-Up)

We use Mobile application as our second alternative, because mobile

application is a software application that works on multiple devices. Such
as ipad, tablet, smartphones, etc. Because nowadays mobile application is
handy during these days. Everyone can order or browse wherever they are and
it’s easy to access and almost everyone can afford to buy a smartphones,
unlike computer desktop they are more complicated than smartphones. The
evolution of mobile applications on smartphones gave the service business a
unique style. Mobile apps are programs that are designed to perform a
specific task. Because of the introduction of mobile applications, time
consumption has decreased, and items and services are now at the tip of
somebody's hands.

For this alternatives here are the few advantages of this proposal system:
