Chapter 1

INTRODUCTION

This chapter presents the project context, conceptual framework, objectives of

the study, scope and limitations of the study, purpose and description, and definition of

terms. Project Context

We all know that Filipinos are prolific users of social media. There are good

reasons to be optimistic, observant and being able to try the new trend that serves as a

product of e-Commerce growth in the Philippines like what this topic all about the Lot

buy, rent and sale. One of these trends that most people are attached with online

shopping like Lazada and Shoppe, as well as online back transactions are

increasing payment in the Philippines. This meant that the E-commerce in

the Philippines has grown over the years. By the use of Technology like Internet and

mobile devices; smart phones or Android phones it helps the acceleration of expansion

of the online consumer base which is very necessary to the further growth of the

Philippines Industry.

The idea of shopping from their own home has been around for ages, it could be

from commercials to catalogs. Since several technologies are becoming more advanced,

internet oronline shopping is becoming a thing. Most people rely upon the accessibility

of the Internet which is an obvious phenomenon that is happening in the world

nowadays and because of the increasinguse of Internet, Philippines provided an

emerging opportunity for online shopping. Online shopping has encountered a rapid

development during the recent years because of its many advantages for both the

consumers and the sellers, such as convenience for the consumers, just like our study the
Lot Buy, Rent and sale the consumers save their time and effort rather than being

dependent on touring around or calling a real state agent, increasing market area for the

sellers and there are a wide range variety of lots to choose from. Because of these

advantages,an ever increasing number of individuals say that they chose online rather

than physical exploring nowadays. But there are also risks associated with online. The

consumes or the realstate agents behavior towards online alludes to their psychological

state when buying over the Internet
