dimensions of development, especially to the CWTS Program. To understand, the dimension of
development talks about the different areas in which a student can choose to be the circle of their
future community project.

Under the dimensions of development, an acronym was created: SERVICE. In which

states Safety and security, Education, Recreation, Values formation and moral recovery, Industry
and entrepreneurship, Care for health, and Environment. In CWTS or Civic Welfare Training
Service, these categories can be used to help the students see how to address the problem in the
community and solve it how they see fit. Moreover, it educates them on the value and meaning
of equity. Equity means treating individuals based on their different needs, while Equality talks
about treating individuals the same regardless of their needs. Both promote fairness but, in every
community, different needs and issues to be addressed. If the students fail to understand the
difference between equity and equality, the help that should be helped would be useless in a
community that is experiencing a different issue.

To conclude, the importance or significance of the dimension of development is it teaches

youngsters the different needs that every community may experience. It also helps them develop
the understanding between equity and equality, and how equity should be more recognized than
equality. Lastly, it can help them have a sense of direction in how they can be an effective leader
