Once upon a time, there was a poor fisherman who lived by the sea. Every day, he would go
out to sea in his little boat in search of a big catch. One day, he cast his net and pulled up a
golden fish. The fish spoke to the fisherman and said, “I will grant you three wishes. What do
you wish for?” The fisherman thought for a moment and decided to wish for a beautiful
princess to be his wife. The next day, as the fisherman was returning home, he met a
mysterious sea princess. She agreed to marry him and the fisherman brought her home to
his village. The villagers became suspicious of the sea princess, but the fisherman defended

The Little Match Girl

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a small village in the Philippines. She
was an orphan and had no one to care for her. Every day she tried to find some way to make
money for food, but it was never enough. One day, she decided to go to the nearby woods
to collect sticks and twigs to make matches. She had heard that if she sold enough matches,
she could make enough money to buy food for herself. When she arrived in the woods, she
was astonished to see a flock of beautiful birds made of rice. The birds were singing the
most beautiful song she had ever heard. The little girl was so mesmerized by the birds that
she forgot why she was in the woods and decided to stay and watch them. Suddenly, a gust
of wind blew away the matches she had collected. The little girl was devastated and started
to cry. Suddenly, an old man appeared before her and asked her why she was crying. After
she told him her story, the old man said that he would help her. He gave her a handful of
rice, and told her to feed the birds with it. She did as she was told and soon the birds started
to fly around her. The old man then said that if the birds were happy, she would be
rewarded. The little girl was overjoyed when she noticed that the rice she had given the birds
had turned into a pile of gold coins! She thanked the old man and went back home with
enough money to buy food for herself. From then on, the little girl never forgot to be kind to
the creatures around her. This is the story of The Little Match Girl and her magical birds.
