1. What the book is about and why I enjoyed it.

There are 6 chapters in this book. This stories took placed in kampung Teluk batik
Perak about young character's Razak fighting with fierce evil Garing and his
wicked follower. There lots of trouble been made by Garing and his gang to the
villagers such as burning their house, rice and corn store. Razak was escaped
during the enemy onslaught but badly injured. The stories continues on how
Razak want to saved his wife Wan Embong and his two kids who been kidnap by
Garing.

2. Why did I select this book?

The stories are an easy to read set of episodes based on local tales handed down
from one generation to the other. It is written not only to hold the interest of the
reader, but also create a liking among the students to read literature in English.

3. A synopsis of the book

The subject of this book is:
A drama beetwen Razak and his cousin wife Rozita who’s helping him recovering
from his injured. After recoverd Razak then meets Penghulu and Tok Guru Muin to
state his intention to take his revenge on Garing. With the help of Penghulu Razak
then meet up with Nenek Endon a well known Malay Siamese herb specialist.
Nenek Endon gave him a Keris to defeat Garing because he is invulnerable to
ordinary weapon. Razak team up with Ithnin his best fella and a few brave
villagers, set up a plan to attack Garing. After a long battle beetwen them, Garing
finaly fall down. Moral of the stories is we should fight for our right untill the end.
