The report entitled "Dynamics of Change and Leadership in the Workplace

(Social Exchange Strategy)" discusses reasonable strategies that focus on

exchanging resources and opportunities in exchange for specified performance

pledges. The author also connects this to the Social Exchange Theory, a

psychological perspective on how human social interactions are established,

sustained, and terminated. It is somehow related because it tackles about human

relations and trade.

It was stated in the report that the exchange strategy allows employees to reach

out and trade much-needed resources or opportunities with individuals who

matter in exchange for their personal promises to the employee to achieve

results. The simplicity of this report drew my attention, but it was packed with all

the required details for a deeper understanding of the subject. The paper also

includes the requisite critical variables that must be considered while developing

exchange strategies. It was fascinating to see that this method is general in

nature, and that it can be used to a wide range of social connections and

situations. Furthermore, what matters to me the most is how the author

addresses the topic, and how I was able to understand this topic, which can be

served as a valuable knowledge, or maybe a tool, in the future.
