Define and explain the importance of Rock Cycle

- The rock cycle is the Earth's way of recycling its mineral resources, which pass
through different temperatures and environments at different locations, resulting in
the formation of various minerals and rocks. These rocks are classified as igneous,
metamorphic, and sedimentary all of which can be obtained through each other
when conditions change.
Describe 3 major harmful environmental effects of extracting,
processing, and using nonrenewable mineral resources
-The first and most common harmful effects of extracting, processing, and using
nonrenewable mineral resources is the negative impact it has on climate change,
because it emits several greenhouse gases, which is obviously bad for our planet.
The second issue is the issue of humanity not being able to sustain further use of
this we use far too many of these nonrenewable mineral resources, causing
significant harm to the environment far too quickly. Finally, is our reliance on
them we rely far too heavily on nonrenewable mineral resources, which has
negative consequences there is the issue of humanity not being able to sustain
further use of this; we use far too many of these nonrenewable mineral resources,
causing significant harm to the environment far too quickly.
How can we apply the 3 principles of sustainability in order to obtain
and use nonrenewable mineral resources in a more sustainable way?
-Remember to minimize the use of nonrenewable mineral resources, where they
can be used by humanity but not to the point where they cause significant harm.
Also, remember to turn off systems that produce more of these nonrenewable
mineral resources when no equipment or need for them is present. Finally, avoid
waste of nonrenewable mineral resources by doing a few things, one of which is
storing these nonrenewable resources for future use rather than disposing of them
through unethical and unnecessary methods.
