COMMUNICABLE DISEASE

 Communicable diseases, also known as infectious diseases or transmissible diseases, are

illnesses that result from the infection, presence and growth of pathogenic (capable of causing
disease) biologic agents in an individual human or other animal host.
 It can be spread through physical contact with an infected person

 Is basically the diseases that can be spread or transfer from person to person in other words
nakakahawa.
 In the last decades, due to technological advancements, curing or treatment of such diseases
become much easier.

TUBERCOLOSIS

Nag-spred ito through blood contact from an infected person na usually
and could lead to more serious diseases such as liver cancer.

HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) & AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome)

 Is a viral infection that attacks our cells that help fight body infection making our body more
First stage and final
or late stage ba. Commonly itong nakukuha when in contact with certain body fluid of an

MEASLES
 Is a highly contagious viral infection that primarily infects respiratory tract and eventually,
throughout the body. It causes a total-body skin rash and flu-like symptoms at mas kilala natin
ito sa panagalang ‘tigdas’. Walang specific treatment sa tigdas pero it can be prevented with a
vaccine.

THREATENING DISEASES AROUND THE WORLD

1. CORONARY ARTERY DISEASE
usually made up of fatty substance. Kapag hindi naagapan, pwedeng lumala at
maging sanhi ng chest pain, heart failure at iba pa. I believe, commoly known ito
satin as atake sa puso.
2. STROKE
Symptoms are sudden
numbness or weakness in the face, arm or legs, especially on one side of the body.
3. LOWER RESPIRATORY INFECTION
Usually caused by viruses
but can still be cause bacteria.
bronchitis, pneumonia, at bronchiolitis. Common din itong kaso tuwing colder
months.
worst is death.
4. CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE
- It is a group of disease that causes airflow blockage and breathing-related problems.
It basically makes you hard to breathe and can be worse habang tumatagal.
5. TRACHEA, BRONCHUS, AND LUNG CANCERS
- Lung cancer begins in lungs and maaari pang kumalt sa ibang parte ng katawan.
As with many other cancers, a key to
surviving these illnesses is catching it at its earliest stages, when it is most treatable.

2. CANCER
Supposedly ganon dapat ngunit sometimes, this
orderly process breaks downs, and abnormal and damaged cells grow and multiply
when they shouldn’t. These cells ay maaaring maging tumors.
3. PNEUMONIA
- A severe inflammation of the lungs in which the alveoli (tiny air sacs) are filled with
fluid. This may cause a decrease in the amount of oxygen that blood can absorb
from air breathed into the lungs and makes breathing painful.
