 Mr. Darcy is a 35 years old finance person. Ms. Jane was Darcy’s, immediate junior. Darcy has
worked with Moon Pharma from 2015-2020. Thereafter, he joined Tibbott. Jane has been
working with Moon Pharma since 2017. Darcy and Jane are senior employees in their
respective companies and were incidentally involved in financial discussions with Bockhardt
on behalf of their respective companies.
 Darcy’s approximate total profit from the sale of Moon Pharma’s share on December 24,
2021, was around Rs. 57.2 lakhs.
 On the same day, he also sold mutual fund units held by him in the FBI Pharma Scheme of
the FBI Pharma Focus Mutual Fund, whose 50% of total assets under management were
securities of Moon Pharma.
 a. The SBP got an alert in its internal surveillance system, under which, it carried out a
detailed investigation into the trading activities undertaken in the scrip of Moon Pharma
during September 1, 2021 and December,30, respectively 2021.
