3.1 EXAMINATION
A. Verify foundation, floor slab, mechanical and electrical utilities, and placed anchors are
in correct position, and installed in accordance with Section 03 30 00 – Cast-in-Place
Concrete.
B. Provide for erection and wind loads. Provide temporary bracing to maintain structure
plumb and in alignment until completion of erection and installation of permanent
bracing. [Locate braced bays as indicated on Drawings.]
C. Set column base plates with non-shrink grout to achieve full plate bearing.
E. After erection, prime welds, abrasions, and surfaces not [shop primed.] [galvanized.]
A. Exercise care when cutting prefinished material to ensure cuttings do not remain on finish
surface.
C. Locate end laps over supports. End laps minimum [2] [________] inches ([50]
[________] mm). Place side laps over bearing.
A. Rigidly support and secure components. Join lengths with formed seams sealed
