ESSAY:

Sport has always been a massive part of my life ever since I started playing soccer at the age of 5 when the Chelsea Football Club opened its
first official academy in my country Egypt and I joined.. Since that day it became my passion. Soccer changed me from a shy and anxious child
to the dedicated and confident man I am today. I enjoy handball, basketball and Padel tennis

I represented my school, the American International School- Egypt, team at every grade level, winning ---- place in the ---- CISSA tournaments,
and winning Gold medals in the regional U12 Dubai Super Cup in the UAE.

I have played at many different levels. I was always chosen for the Elite (ie. First) team in every academy I joined including the Chelsea
Academy, Real Madrid Academy and the Paris Saint Germain Academy representing them in the National Juniors Egyptian Football league. I
attended the Real Madrid foundation summer camp in the summer of 20 --. However, the highlight of my soccer career was when I was
rewarded by the Chelsea Football Academy in Egypt for my performance. I was awarded a three day trip to London, attending a Chelsea vs
Stoke City match, meeting Chelsea legend Peter Bonetti and getting his autograph, and meeting then-Chelsea First team players Didier Drogba,
Ivanovich, Peter Czech, and John Terry.

Studying Marketing and business – an industry that is constantly growing and changing

Football is not just a --- sport, it is also a --- industry.

A degree in sports marketing would give me the opportunity to combine my passion for sports and my interest in business.

Another --- I am very passionate about is animal rescue and the wellbeing of animals in Egypt. Animal welfare and animal rights is a neglected
issue in Egypt. Since a young age, I have volunteered for animal shelters in Egypt, rescued animals who need help and held fundraisers to collect
money for animal shelters. I dedicated my CAS project to fundraising and raising awareness for this cause. I managed to collect LE 10000 for
the Unleashed Dog shelter in Egypt helping them pay their workers wages and buy food for around a hundred rescue dogs.

I believe that studying ---------- at university will provide me with the opportunities, skills and ------ required for a career in the industry and I
believe that my enthusiasm, passion and dedication will allow me to make full use of all the opportunities and the practical experience the
university has to offer.
