PT Sukses Always is a company that allocates petty cash in February 2021 with the following
details.
February 3, 2021: Purchase of snacks for meetings with clients worth IDR 100,000
February 19, 2021: Visit to a colleague's office outside the city for IDR 300,000
February 26, 2021: Accountability for petty cash disbursements and replenishment.

7. Korespondensi
Korespondensi diambil dari Bahasa Inggris yang correspondence berarti dengan yang
lain, dan respondere berarti menjawab. Kata korespondensi memiliki arti tersendiri menurut
Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) adalah perihal surat menyurat yang memiliki
hubungan. Korespondensi yang dilakukan sering disebut dengan kegiatan surat menyurat.
Pihak yang terkait dalam proses surat menyurat disebut dengan koresponden.
Jenis-jenis surat korespondensi
Sama dengan jenis dari persuratan yang ada pada perusahaan, korespondensi memiliki
dua jenis yaitu korespondensi eksternal dan korespondensi internal.
1. Korespondensi eksternal
Korespondensi eksternal adalah hubungan surat menyurat yang berhubungan dengan
pihak luar dari perusahaan.
2. Korespondensi internal
Sedangkan korespondensi internal adalah hubungan surat menyurat yang dilakukan oleh
pegawai-pegawai yang ada di dalam kantor atau ruang lingkup internal dari perusahaan
tersebut.
Fungsi surat korespondensi
Surat korespondensi memiliki fungsi masing-masing dalam pembuatannya, fungsi
utamanya yaitu memiliki hubungan yang erat dengan pihak internal atau pihak eksternal dari
perusahaan tersebut. Dengan adanya surat tersebut akan menjadikan hubungan kerjasama
antara perusahaan satu dengan yang lainnya menjadi lebih jelas dan terarah.
Unsur-unsur pembuatan surat korespondensi
1. Pengirim surat
Surat harus mengetahui siapa pengirimnya untuk memudahkan dalam mengidentifikasi
asal surat tersebut.
2. Penerima surat
Unsur kedua ini juga menjadi unsur pokok karena tidak mungkin surat dibuat tanpa
mengetahui untuk siapa surat tersebut dibuat.
3. Isi pesan
Unsur ini juga menjadi unsur pokok karena pesan tidak dapat disampaikan bila tidak
memiliki isi pesan didalamnya. Penerima pesan juga tidak dapat mengetahui maksud dan
tujuan dari pengiriman pesan tersebut.
