SPORTLID for TANGO Premium

Replacing the touchpad, locking actuator and diode

WARNING
Applying constant pressure to the touchpad is unnecessary to open the SPORTLID, and it could damage
electrical components. To open the SPORTLID, press and release the touchpad immediately.
Please notify vehicle owner
Kit includes:

1 x 165mm cable 1 x 100mm cable 2 x Pozi-drive

1 x locking actuator 1 x touchpad 1 x diode 1 x cable tie mount
tie ties screw

Disconnect the wiring to the lid. This
will isolate the power to lid so it is safe
to complete the replacements
Remove plastic cover by unscrewing
scrivets and pulling the plastic cover
out.
Note: Retain all scrivets and cover for
re-installation.
Recommended Tool: No.2 Pozi driver
screwdriver
Remove the touchpad by separating
adhesive from the frame, cut the cable
tie with side cutters, unwrap electrical
tape and disconnect the touchpad
connector.

Replacing the touchpad, locking actuator and diode

Connect the diode by matching the
blue and green wires of the new
locking actuator.
Connect the wires of the wiring
loom to the new actuator by
matching the coloured wires.
Ensure the clear sleeves cover the
connections and wrap with
electrical tape
Reconnect locking actuator onto
latch rod and screw the actuator
onto the frame.
Recommended Tool: No.2 Pozi
driver screwdriver

Secure the wiring by cable tieing 3M
cable tie mount to the wrapped
wires. Remove the backing off the
3M cable tie mount and adhere to
the inside of the frame by the
locking actuator
Reconnect the lid wiring connector Re-install plastic cover by reusing
