A Lesson in Friendship

       Zaki is a poor boy. His parents work in Kuala Lumpur so he lives

with his grandparents. Aiman is Zaki’s best friend. He often saw
Zaki crying when he missed his parents. Aiman was sorry for Zaki,
so he would always do what Zaki asked him. But Zaki would often
use Aiman to get food and do his homework.

      One evening, Zaki and Aiman were walking home from

school. On the way, they were stopped by a bad boy. The bad
boy always makes students hand their money to him.  Zaki got an
idea on how to save himself from the boy. Zaki walked to the
boy. “Let us go! We will give you the money tomorrow.” The boy
replied, "Alright! But, you must keep your words or I’ll hit you!”.
Then Zaki told Aiman, "He won’t hit us! We'd better go now.”

      The next day, Zaki told Aiman he was ill even he was not, so
he didn't come to school. Aiman had to go to school alone. The
boy was waiting for them there. The boy told him that Zaki had
wanted to give him the money today. Aiman didn’t have the
money so he was hit by the boy. Aiman’s parents told him not to
be friends with Zaki anymore. From that day, Zaki lost his best
friend.

different places. There, he takes many photos of beautiful
landscapes. He shares many of his works on the walls of his

days a week. During his free time, Azmi loves playing
badminton with his daughters. Sometimes he takes them with
him to work. His daughters enjoy going places with their
father.

Sham works as a nurse in a clinic where he helps the dentist.

Every day, he takes the bus to work. He works from 9 a.m. to 5
p.m. on Monday to Fridays while he has the weekend off.

keep himself fit. During the weekends, he collects shells and
makes sandcastles with his children at the seaside. They love
spending time with him.
