European Standard EN 12208 : 1999 has the status of a DIN Standard.

This standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 33.
The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Bauwesen (Building
and Civil Engineering Standards Committee), Technical Committee Türen, Tore, Fenster, Abschlüsse,
Baubeschläge und Vorhangfassaden.

Amendments
Parts of DIN 18055, October 1981 edition, have been superseded by the specifications of EN 12208.
