Dream or Promise

"Damgo Dosmil Baynte Singko". This is a famous line promised by our dear Mayor Dodoy Labadbad in
the town of Sindangan, a province of Zamboanga del Norte. With all the infrastructures, buildings,
institution and offices many of us local residents adored the improvements that we witnessed as the
fruit of hardworks and labor from our taxes paid to render such beautification for the town and its
economy.

Undeniably, most of us local Sindanganons are bound to make daily efforts for our regular basis to run
errands and living to survive the day. This typically means using our products and our own produce to
make it as our source of living, exporting it to another neighboring towns and trading it making our town
as supplier of agricultural products. This is just one factor of booming our town's economy making it
more progressive and stable.

However, many of our fellow Sindanganons complained about not having a good source of water supply
all day and night, when in fact it is needed in order to achieve everyday errands and living. How can we,
Sindanganons, achieve our daily efforts to make a living if we lack water supply? How can we, possibly
achieve the promise "Damgo Dosmil Baynte Singko"?

Many argue that the lack of water supply can totally affect the daily living of people particularly those
who are in food business. The scarcity of water supply can hinder businesses and other source of living
which makes every day a struggle to conquer.

Sindanganons hope for an immediate attention for this problem that this would not take long as it
makes hindrance to achieve our daily activities. This burden, affecting the lives of everyone, should serve
as a lesson of daily struggle.

Do we still need to wait until Dosmil Banynte Singko?
