Hi, we are Pablo, Iñigo, Gloria and Maria and we will be presenting our perfect green
school. As you know, the purpose of a school is to educate. So, first, we will be defining
the concept of education.
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, education is the process of teaching or
learning, especially in a school or college, or the knowledge that you get from this.
Education is crucial for life, and that is why schools are so important. We want to focus
our school on the capabilities that will actually be needed for your life. This includes
acquiring and developing skills and ways of thinking such as critical thinking. These
are very valuable and cannot be taken away from you. Albeit they won’t grant a job
they will definitely help and will affect your quality of life
Having said that, lets start talking about how our perfect green school will be. We will
talk about the building, location, activities, subjects, rules and why we chose them.

The subjects and activities performed in a school are also important. Therefore, the
subjects in our school will be a bit different to the ones normal schools have.
The main subjects would be the normal ones, but they will be focused on developing
skills and ways of thinking like math, that will help you think in a more structured way,
natural science that will make you more conscious about nature, lab that will help you
develop critical thinking and question how things work, ...
In addition, these subjects will be tweaked to be related to environmental application,
especially when talking about projects. For example, in physics, students will calculate
what is the carbon footprint of certain items they use, and which changes they could
make to reduce their carbon footprint.
