1. Discuss your own enablers of passion (refer to the mind map you previously created).

Explain each
enabler you identified and how this relates to your passion as a teacher.

Every successful educator has its contributing enablers. These enablers come indifferent forms – may it
be people, things, or experiences. Whatever it may be, they surely keep our passion burning within
ourselves. They are the primary reason why we keep going, strive to do our best and inspire other people.
Without them, we are like vehicles who have empty gas tanks. We are not going to be efficient, effective,
and productive in our duties and responsibilities. Moreover, as the saying goes “no man is an island”, it
connotes that we, alone, cannot carry our tasks and go over with it. Instead, we should have someone or
something to fulfill our endeavors and aspirations in teaching profession. As I continue my mission and
calling in the teaching profession, I have realized the enablers of my passion are God, Learners and
Family.

God because Matthew 6:33 talks about seeking God’s kingdom first. To put God first means giving Him
top priority in our lives and letting him take charge. When we put God first in our lives, we accept his
direction. He directs us on the right path that we should take. If we refuse to let him take charge, we risk
missing our paths and finding ourselves in unnecessary trouble. However, if we accept God’s guidance,
we find ourselves making the right moves in our career, our family, and life in general. We experience joy
and happiness when we make God a priority in our lives. Many people have the desire to find joy and
happiness; seeking God’s guidance is a good start.

Learners because by becoming a teacher you'll get job satisfaction that few will experience. Other than
parents, teachers have arguably the biggest influence on a child's life. The visible results you'll see from
students are guaranteed to send you home with a sense of pride!

Much like doctors, nurses and vets, teaching is more than just a job. It's a true vocation. Many people
work to live, but the rewarding nature means teachers get job satisfaction unmatched by most professions!

Teachers do more than teach, and their impact extends far beyond the classroom. As a teacher, you are
more than just an educator–you are a mentor, a confidant and a friend. One of the most common reasons
to become a teacher is to make a difference in the lives of as many students as you can.

Teachers have the potential to interact with students at all stages of development and from all walks of
life. A great teacher wants to help students along this path and to play a part in shaping the person they
will ultimately become. If you want to help a child struggling with low self-esteem and problems at home,
then become a teacher to encourage them and help them realize their potential. Becoming a teacher lets
you impart life lessons they will never forget and puts you in a position to influence their decisions,
behaviors, strengths, weaknesses and imagination. Becoming a teacher lets you take part in shaping the
next generation.

Family. My family is also one of my enablers in continuing my passion. I think I could not totally live
and pursue my dreams without them. They are my number one supporter in my teaching career, and I am
very thankful for having them. Family is indeed my source of inspiration whenever I feel exhausted and
sometimes demotivated. Because of them, I learn how to refocus, to set goals, and to start again.
Indeed, being a teacher is a challenging profession. The enablers of my passion really help me to do my
profession with great passion and determination. To be an exceptional teacher that is worth remembering
is also a challenge; that is why the need to set goals on how to achieve this is truly a necessary action.

2. Expound on your "future you" vision. How would you want your students to remember you as an
exceptional teacher?

As human beings, we should always act in a manner that people will remember us for the good things we
do and the legacy we live leave behind. When we die, our deeds live after us whether they are good or
bad. Therefore, we should have it at the back of our mind that we are making history by what we are
doing presently.

Consequently, I live a life, bearing it in mind that what I am doing someday will be used as a measure for
judging me. Therefore, if I asked how I would like to be remembered, I will say is enumerated below.

First of all, I would like to be remembered as an individual with sound ethical values and principles and
does not compromise them no matter what the circumstance may be. Also, fairness is a characteristic that
I would love to be recognize for.

Personally, I have always strove to be fair with others and to recognize my mistakes while learning from
them. In addition to this, I would like to be remembered as a person who respects others as much as
respects himself. As a child, I have developed some values from my family to treat everybody with
respect whether I agree with them or not.

Furthermore, in my profession, I would love to be remembered to be hardworking professional who

always strives and ensures that she maximizes his potentials in order to bring the best outcomes in his
work.

I believe that a leader should be a visionary and so I would like to be remembered as leader with a vision
and a passion for his personal and professional life.

Summarily, I would love to be remembered as person who is always keen and open to correction, always
ready and eager to learn. I want to be remembered for the good that I have lived to do and to be
remembered for the good and reputable name which I have built.

3. Identify your 3 action plans, steps or changes and discuss each one.

First is to Improve the learning experience and the success of learners.

It is crucial that learners experience learning environments which support them to reach their full
potential. This means addressing their wellbeing needs and learning outcomes
appropriate for current and predicted future skills requirements, and embracing the power of
Information Communication Technology (ICT) to deliver learning in an innovative way, so that students
are fully prepared for the challenges and opportunities they will face in the future.

Second, Improve the progress of learners at risk of educational disadvantage or learners with special
educational needs. Inclusive education is a fundamental principle of our education and training system. It
is vital that all learners have the opportunity to reach their potential. Those that need extra assistance in
order to do so must be offered appropriate supports. Education and training are key to breaking the cycle
of disadvantage.

Last Build stronger bridges between education and the wider community. There is huge potential for
mutual enrichment by building stronger links between Education and Training
and the wider world. Education and Training has become and will continue to be at the heart of that
success. However, the pace of technological change requires a major step-up of the engagement between
Education and Enterprise. It is not just in the Enterprise sphere that the benefits of collaboration can be
created. Huge opportunities also exist for collaboration in developing creative community.
