INTRODUCTION

A. Company Name, History and General Location

PAGSS is the leading ground handling company in the Philippines. We are backed by 25 years of

experience in providing first-rate ground handling services to international airlines landing and

taking-off at various international airports in the Philippines.

PAGSS traces its roots to a joint venture between Lufthansa Airport and Ground Services GmbH

(LAGS) and People’s Air Cargo & Warehousing Co., Inc. (PAIRCARGO) called Philippine Airport

and Ground Services, Inc. (PAGS), which was established as a ground handling company at the

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in 1995. Since 2010, PAGSS has been a wholly owned

subsidiary of PAIRCARGO.

From a single airline client at the start of its ground handling operations, today, PAGSS operates

at eight (8) international airports throughout the Philippines and is the designated ground

handler of over 30 international airlines.

PAGSS is principally based at NAIA but is also positioned to provide ground handling services at:

 Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB)

 Kalibo International Airport (KLO)

 Clark International Airport (CRK)

 Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO)

 Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS)

 Laguindingan International Airport (CGY)

 Iloilo International Airport (ILO)

RECOMMENDATIONS

A. Strengths and Areas for Improvement

Strengths

 Teamwork. Teams who collaborate well can reach objectives and solve problems faster,

easier and often better as a group versus separately. Working in a group effectively can

also diversify decisions and workflows, making processes smoother and improving the

product or service's outcomes

 Communication skills can be written, verbal and nonverbal. Communicating well can

help individuals be productive and well-organized.

 If you maintain more flexibility at work, your team members may find it easier to adapt

to change and take on multiple responsibilities

Areas for Improvement

 Interpersonal skill

 Time Management

 Accepting feedback

B. Feasible Courses of Action

 Create a culture of true open communication, and productivity will improve as a result

of a more positive office morale. Encourage communication, collaboration, and

feedback between departments, as well as between management and staff. This will

liven up the stream of ideas, resulting in a more productive team overall.

 Make use of Employee feedback.

 Assist your Team Members in reaching goals.

C. Conclusion

Working environment is one of the best you'll ever find. Work is stressful but you will

find good colleagues to help you throughout the day. Management is very well

experienced in the field. All of them came from the PAGSS.

The PAGSS became the platform to my success. I have acquired a ton of information. I

have met a lot of good people and guests. There may be challenging experiences, but

my superiors never fail to guide and assist me to improve.

In conclusion, as an intern, I was given opportunity to hone my skills that I learned from

our school. As they say, experience is the best teacher. The knowledge I learned from

LPU became skills and now I will utilize it in my future career.
