LEARNING AGREEMENT

I, ___________________________________, a graduating student, am currently enrolled in the subject Seminar 2

which is considered a review subject. This must be treated as an ordinary subject since this is part of the curriculum
requirement of the course. As per the implementation of Republic Act 10029 known as Philippine Psychology Act of
2009, an act regulating the practice of Psychology creating for this purpose a Professional Regulatory Board,
Appropriating Funds therefore and other purposes, the university, particularly the department, had been strict with the
guidelines when it comes to review subjects. The syllabus of the course includes the following:

TOP Grade + AbPsych Grade/ 2 = 65%

Simulated Board Examination = 35%
FINAL TERM GRADE= 100%

Where:
Theories of Personality (TOP) Abnormal Psychology (AbPsych)
Attendance 10% Attendance 10%
Sync Test 25% Sync Test 25%
Summative Test 30% Summative Test 30%
Total = 65% Total = 65%

Theories of Personality will be the Midterm Outcome while Abnormal Psychology will be the Final Outcome of the
course. The final grade in Seminar 2 will compose the 65% of the final term grade added to the remaining 35% which
will come from the Simulated Board Examination that will be administered on the 1st week of May.

This agreement is to reiterate that 75 percent will be the passing grade of the subject. A Final grade from 69.4 and
below will be given a failing grade of 5.00. A grade from 70-74.9 will be given a rating of 4.00 as Conditional Passing.
I understand that just in case I got a conditional passing grade, I would need to take an 80 item Remedial Examination.
It is further emphasized I must be able to accumulate a total of 50 points to pass the examination and be given a grade
of 3.00 as my final grade. If I failed to pass the examination, a grade of 5.00 will be given to me as a final remark.

It must be assumed that failing the subject means losing my chance to be considered a candidate for graduation.

This agreement is also to assure that (1) I have ready and understood the Course Guide provided to us by our Subject
instructor and that (2) my parent/guardian is completely aware of the university’s rules and regulations about the course
and the subject per se.
