TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Sandvik RD927L is a hydraulic top hammer rock drill KEY FEATURES

designed for DL411, DL421 and DL432i underground Hole diameter range 76 - 102 mm
longhole drills. It is capable of drilling Ø76 - 102 mm Kinetic power 27 kW
holes up to 54 meters in depth, using T51 MF-rods or Percussion rate 60 Hz
T45/Ø65 mm and ST58/Ø76 mm tube rods. Percussion pressure Up to 210 bar
The construction of the RD927L rock drill is based on Rotation pressure Up to 200 bar
three body modules tied together with short side bolts; Rotation motor types OMT315 / 400 / 500
this ensures minimum number of joint faces and large Stabilizer Sleeve type
contact surfaces. The percussion module is simple Weight 340 kg
in design and consists of only two moving parts – the
piston and the distributor sleeve around the piston - that ROCK TOOLS AND HOLE DIAMETERS

The RD927L is fitted with a drill stabilizer, which is T45 65 (tube) 76
designed to keep the shank adapter in optimal position T51 52 89
in relation to the piston; this ensures good rock/bit ST58 76 (tube) 89 - 102
contact and energy transfer, high penetration rate and
rock tool service life.
There are two rotation motor variants to meet the
rotation torque and RPM requirements in the RD927L
application range. Power extractor (option) can be used
for opening rock tool joints manually or automatically
when using one-hole or fan automation. The design of
the RD927L is covered by several patents.
