Syllabus 2020
1. Grades:
Final Term Exam 40%
Reports 30%
Quizzes 10%
Project 20%

2. Lab Policy:
• The quiz every two labs.
• Copies in labs will get a grade of ZERO.
• At the beginning of each lab, there are Pre-Lab; it must be solved in the report.
• In the end of each lab, there are exercises; it must be solved in the report.
• Lab reports due are at the beginning of the next lab session. LATE lab reports
will have a 20% penalty, if they are handed in within one week of the due date.
3. Report Format:
The report should consist of the following sections:
1. Cover Page: Include your name, student id number, lab number, topic of the
experiment, experiment number.

2. Report Body

Objective:

In no more than four sentences, state in your own words the purpose of
performing the experiment.

Equipment:

List the quantity and part number for each integrated circuit that you used.
(small components, such as switches, wires and LEDs).

Procedures & Results:

For each circuit your report should include the following (if any):

• Logic diagram.
• Schematic diagrams (circuit connections).
• Truth tables or State tables (as required).
• Timing diagrams (if you are asked to do in the procedure)  Block diagrams
(for large circuits).

Exercises

Your report should include answers for the exercise at the end of each
experiment.

Conclusion/Comment:

Write a paragraph or two that describes the major points of the lab. Also feel
free to discuss any problems you had performing the experiment would like to
share.
