1. HOUSING PRICE PREDICTION MODEL DEVELOPMENT USING MACHINE

LEARNING TECHNIQUES; (in the case of Nekemte town) model or fw?

In developing countries, house price estimation is very complex and difficult to do with traditional
methods. Accordingly i also use machine learning methods to develop a model that performs house
price prediction.
2. Argument Mining from Afaan Oromo Argumentative Texts using Machine Learning
Approach.
An argument is a process in which two or more ideas arise in different ways at different times. In this
century of information, it is difficult to manually identify the arguments people are having in their
different texts, social media and based on that, I am going to develop a model that identifies
controversial ideas in Afaan Oromo texts using machine learning methods.
Argument component and relation classification (predictions) are two main subtasks in argument
mining. In this study, i design and implement argument relation prediction for Afaan Oromo language
using machine learning approach. The proposed system consists, Preprocessing, for removing
extraneous data and make the data for next component of learning algorithm. Text mining is a
fundamental research area under natural language processing that processes a vast amount of written
texts to examine new patterns form those texts.
3. CRIME ANALYSIS AND PREDICTION USING MACHINE LEARNING
ALGORITHMS (in case of Nekemte Town Police Commission)
A crime is an offensive act caused by an illegal activity. The purpose of this study is to identify the
relationship between criminals and victims and also to develop crime analysis and prediction using
machine learning methods based on the existing data database of Nekemte Police commission.
