The importance of choosing a future career

Nowadays it seems that most universities and schools try to help teenagers to
find engaging and suitable jobs in which they would be able to develop their
abilities and continue to acquire new knowledge that could be useful for their
daily life. However, some students point out that the different methods
provided in class will never be beneficial in any future job.
In this essay, I will discuss two fundamental methods that all educational
institutions could focus on to prepare young people for their professional
careers.

In the first place, it is crucial to provide a work experience programme because

many workstations require qualified staff that would be able to cope with
different problems and work situations. Moreover, if students are not sure
what career they want to do, the work experience programme can lead and
give them many options. It is a flawless way of exploring the type of jobs that
deliver covering the labour market.

A second option would be to provide career advice. Once in a while, it is pretty

hard to make choices, especially when it comes to their future. In other words,
the career is a significant part of the students and the decision has to be taken
with the greatest attention. For instance, if teachers were able to help and
explain the various career options according to the young people interests,
skills, and abilities, as a result, the students would have personal and
professional success thanks to career guidance.

To conclude either of the two methods would be convenient to develop both

in schools and universities. Thereby, teenagers could expand their qualities
and interests. From my point of view using all the necessary resources and
programmes, youngsters would be more prepared for their future careers.
