REAL APPLICATION OF A DOOR ENTRY SYSTEM

Objective
After you finish this exercise you will learn how to connect the modules in order to simulate an
audio entry system by :
1- Assembly of the system.
2- Checking the interphone operation.
3- Study of audio door entry system wiring.

Basic Theory
The Audio Door Entry System consists of a series of elements that allow the students to
understand how the main elements of the Audio Door Entry Systems work.

All these elements have safety connection to make electrical connections.

The Audio Door Entry System includes the following:
1- Main Power Supply, Ac power supply 2240 V Ac
2- Phones Power Supply Output voltage 12 VAC (transformer).
3-Phone: Is a phone station used to control door opener and connected to interphone (outdoor)
4- Interphone (outdoor). It is a digital station with a phone, this module control the lock module
Input voltage: 12 V Ac
5- Lock. (Door opener): Input voltage: 12 V A

Safety Checklist
➢ Make sure the meter at proper position before doing measurement.
➢ Observe all electrical safety precautions. Live voltage is present in this experiment, be cautious
at all times and common sense
➢Before changing the settings of any circuit, disconnecting the power supply will be required

3. Draw a complete wiring diagram of the door entry system.
