    Write UP – FIELD TRIP TO RELIANCE MART

    “The true success of education is creating in children the ability to employ


    acquired knowledge into everyday lives”

    Field Trips add value and meaning to learning experience, DPS Vapi organized a
    field trip to ‘Reliance Smart Store’ for the students of Prep class. The objective of
    the visit was to give children a practical exposure about how the supermarket
    functions. The students visited different sections of supermarket. The children had
    fun while learning through identification of items, sorting and classifying various
    products. They were accustomed with the reading sign boards placed for easy
    location of the products and the system and steps followed at the main billing
    counter. The students expressed gratitude to the staff of the mart who attended the
    group making the experience fulfilling

    The visit indeed provided students opportunities to explore and develop the life
    skills besides understanding the value of things.
