The poem points out racism as one form of discrimination.

It is a belief that race is the

primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an
inherent superiority of a particular race. One group of people thinks they are superior that other
races. For example, in history, the white race had discriminated against the black race.

Racism has different forms of discrimination:

1. oppressive deeds-races who are stronger abuse the weaker race; for example the white race
abused the black race; in history, the Africans were sold to Americans as slaves

2. Discrimination is another one that binds our minds and sharpens tongues-this says that
discriminated people are not allowed to give their opinion

3. Fighting wars because of God? Trampling on the underdog-this says that the superior race
thinks they are Gods and the weaker or poorer race is the underdog

4. denigrate others on this Earth- it means to attack the reputation of or DEFAME; to deny the
importance or validity of or BELITTLE; for example, the white race think of the black people as
dirty, uneducated, slaves, and poor.

So he continues, "There is just one human race." The view is great. No matter how it
appears, there shouldn't be any racial distinctions because, as he explains later, prejudice
separates the undesirable from the desirable. Naturally, that makes reference to prejudice once
more. Because there shouldn't be a distinction between good and bad, racism is a perspective
that sees all races as either good or bad. Discrimination would be beneficial if it were applied to
its true purpose, which is to bring all of us together. He claims that because we are all unique,
we are all connected in this final section. This is not the case, though. In this instance,
discrimination is wrong.
