Literature Review

A literature review consists of an overview, a summary, and an evalu-

ation (“critique”) of the current state of knowledge about a specific area
of research. It may also include a discussion of methodological issues and
suggestions for future research.

Besides enlarging your knowledge about the topic, writing a literature review
lets you gain and demonstrate skills in two areas:

1. information seeking: the ability to scan the literature efficiently,

using manual and computerized methods, to identify a set of useful
articles, books and documents;

2. critical appraisal: the ability to apply principles of analysis to iden-

tify unbiased and valid studies.

A literature review must do these things:

ˆ be organized around and related directly to the thesis or research ques-

tion you are developing;

ˆ synthesize results into a summary of what is and is not known;

ˆ identify areas of controversy in the literature;

ˆ formulate questions that need further research.

Chapter 3

My third chapter

After Literature Review you can break remaining report into multiple chap-
ters covering, Solution Approach, Design, Methodology, Use Case and finally
Implementation and Result Analysis. Results analysis section will be in-
cluded after implementation. Similarly, Conclusion and future scope will be
included later.
This chapter gives you format of various sections, figures and tables.

3.4 The layout of formal tables

3.5 Equations
The well known Pythagorean theorem x2 + y 2 = z 2 was proved to be invalid
for other exponents. Meaning the next equation has no integer solutions:

xn + y n = z n
The mass-energy equivalence is described by the famous equation

E = mc2

discovered in 1905 by Albert Einstein. In natural units (c = 1), the formula

expresses the identity
E=m (3.1)

eπi + 1 = 0 (3.2)
The beautiful equation Eq.3.2 (this how equations will be referenced) is
known as the Euler equation.

it after implementation only.
