PROFILE
STCW BASIC SAFETY TRAINING COURSE

Course Description

This course is considered a minimum entry requirement for who wishes to work on ships. The STCW basic safety training course is mandated by all flag
states for all working seafarers. It is the international standard of nearly every leading flag state in the world. It is require by almost every employer in
order to ensure that everyone working onboard had the basic safety skills and knowledge in order to provide a safe working condition and respond to
emergency situations and conditions.

Entry standards

Medically fit (certificate from a certified hospital by Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology)

Objective

The course will enable a seafarer to:


1. PERSONAL SURVIVAL TECHNIQUES (A-VI/1-1)
2. FIRE FIGHTING AND FIRE PREVENTION (A-VI/1-2)
3. ELEMENTARY FIRST AID (A-VI/1-3)
4. PERSONAL SAFETY AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (A-VI/1-4)
5. PROFICIENCY IN SECURITY AWARENESS (A-VI/6-1)

- Fire fighting and damage control simulator.

- First aid equipment

- Swimming pool
