9.0 Additional Descriptions

The EUT was powered through a serial interface cable that was connected to the bench
supply set to 3.34 VDC.

EUT was set to transmit continuously at its maximum power, with a modulating signal
representative of the worst-case signal encountered in a real system operation on the low,
middle, and high channels of the operating band.

The EUT was rotated through 3 orthoganal axis to find worst-case.

10.0 Results

Measurements were performed in accordance with CISPR 16 and ETSI EN 300 328.
Graphical and tabular data can be found in Appendix B of this report.

RF Exposure compliance results to BS EN 62479:2010 can be found in Appendix C.

Informative data can be found in Appendix D. This section of the report includes the
EN 300 328 V1.9.1 Clause 5.3.1 material.

Measurement uncertainty can be found in Appendix E.

11.0 Conclusion

The MeshConnect ZICM357SP0-1C Zigbee Module, Model ZICM357SP0-1 tested with

the Aveslink 2dBi external antenna and with the LSR 2dBi external antenna, as provided
from California Eastern Laboratories, tested in July of 2016 meets the requirements of
ETSI EN 300 328 V1.9.1 and BS EN 62479:2010.

No emissions found within 20dB of the limit

Radiated emissions testing was performed up to 12.75 GHz

Comment:
Measurements were performed with the EUT in continuous receive mode. The EUT was tested
on low, mid, and high channels of operation and in three orthogonal planes.
Testing was performed in normal environmental conditions.

BS EN 62479:2010

Assessment of the compliance of low power electronic and

electrical equipment with the basic restrictions related to human
exposure to electromagnetic fields (10 MHz to 300 GHz)

Transmitter Information:

Maximum Conducted Output Power: 8.1 dBm

Maximum Effective Isotropic Radiated Power 10.1 dBm

Frequency: 2480 MHz

Antenna Type: Aveslink E2820-CA Flying Lead External Dipole Antenna and
LSR 001-0010 External Dipole Antenna.

Antenna Gain: 2.0 dBi (either antenna)

Exposure Limit:

Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) limit for General Population / Uncontrolled Exposure in
the frequency range 2000 – 5000 MHz (ref: IEEE C95.1-2005, Table 9)
