“A cloud service provider is a third-party company offering a cloud-based platform, infrastructure,

application, or storage services. Much like a homeowner would pay for a utility such as electricity or gas,
companies typically have to pay only for the amount of cloud services they use, as business demands
require.”

Benefits of cloud computing

• allows to quickly improve resources and storage to meet demands of user

• supports new innovations by making it easy to test new ideas and design new applications
• Saves money by only making you pay for the resources you actually use
• access data from anywhere in the world from any device

Disadvantages of cloud computing

• Bad Internet connection could restrict access to information or apps

• Susceptible to security risks with data privacy and online threats

What is a Platform as a service

A serves that allows you to develop and share information by providing you with variety resources and
applications
