ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

During the Three Day Division Training for School Paper Advisers held at the
Pangasinan Training Center last November 3-5, 2022, the SDO1 conducted a training
which aims to capacitate school paper advisers in English with an understanding of the
importance of journalism by expressing it through different journalistic endeavors and
approaches; sustain advocacy on social consciousness and environmental awareness;
promote responsible journalism through fair and ethical use of social media; and showcase
the campus journalistic skills of school paper advisers.
This is a step towards going back to the normal face-to-face set-up with the goal of
achieving and attaining excellence in the field of delivering the latest news with the freshest
views. Thus, campus journalism towards excellence and beyond is deemed timely and
necessary. With enhanced journalistic writing skills, as school paper adviser we need to
submit outputs at the end of every discussion for us to better enhance our skills in writing
through the different journalistic endeavors.
During the training, the Proponent was awarded as one of the best outputs in Sports
Writing as Fourth Placer.
