Aperture, along with shutter speed and ISO, is
one of the three fundamentals of photography.

It refers to the opening in a lens through which

light enters the camera. It is a simple concept to
understand if you consider how your eyes work.
The iris in human eyes expands or shrinks as you
move between bright and dark surroundings, The wider they are, the more light will pass
affecting the size of your pupil. through and vice versa.
