WHERE TO FIND US

LIVING IN SWEDEN
Sweden is a safe and modern country in northern Europe. It is also an open, multicultural
society with a long tradition of welcoming students from abroad.

A tradition of innovation
Sweden has a proud tradition of
innovation and entrepreneurship
and is the home of the Nobel
Prize, IKEA, Skype and Spotify.
Innovative research at universi-
ties and companies has resulted
in many successful inventions,
such as the pacemaker and the
computer mouse. Mid Sweden
University keeps that tradition
alive through extensive research
in a broad range of areas. One
example is the Swedish Winter
