WORKERS’ RIGHTS (RA 11058)

1. Right To know - workers shall be appropriately informed


about all types of hazards in the workplace, and be provided with
training, education and orientation;

2. Right To Refuse Unsafe Work - without threat or reprisal from the


employer in cases of imminent danger. Affected workers may be
temporarily assigned to other work areas;

3. Right To Report Accidents - and dangerous occurrences to DOLE


(Department of Labor and Employment) and other government
agencies in the most convenient way; Workers shall be free from
retaliation for reporting any accident;

4. Right To Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - shall be provided


free of charge, with appropriate PPE for
any part of the body that may be exposed to hazards in the workplace.

1. Karapatan na Malaman - ang iba’t ibang uri ng panganib sa lugar ng


trabaho; at mabigyan ng pagsasanay, edukasyon at pagpapaliwanag;

2. Karapatan na Tumanggi - sa delikadong trabaho na walang banta o


paghihiganti ng employer kung ang trabaho ay magdudulot ng
panganib. Ang mga apektadong manggagawa o trabahador ay
maaaring ilipat sa angkop na trabaho ayon sa kaalaman;

3. Karapatan na Magbigay-alam – o magreport tungkol sa mga


aksidente of mapanganib na sitwasyon o pangyayari sa DOLE
(Department of Labor and Employment) at ibang sangay ng gobyerno
na naaayon. Ang manggagawa o trabahador na magrereport ay dapat
walang banta sa pagbibigay alam ng aksidente.

4. Karapatan na Mabigyan ng libre at sapat na kasuotang


pangkaligtasan (PPE) na angkop sa trabaho.
