This is to certify that Mr. AVNISH KUMAR, student of Symbiosis Institute of International
Business (SIIB), Pune has successfully completed the Summer Internship Program in our
organization. The project details of the same are provided below:

The major goal of the internship was to develop a set of Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) for products
and processes in the beauty and cosmetics industry (primarily in India). The primary tasks are
as follows,

● Identification and listing of,

o all the ingredients consumed by cosmetic industry,
o production processes involved in the cosmetic industry, and
o popular products in the cosmetic industry.
● Identification of the most consumed cosmetic products across different Indian
metropolitan cities through literature survey
● In addition, LCI of numerous products were identified and logged from different sources
(books and journals).

There was a notable performance in identifying the popular cosmetic products in India.
Similar products were located from a cosmetic formulation book and the ingredients of 500+
similar products were identified and logged in the database file. He also actively participated
in a data logging marathon, which primarily involved the development of a backend
database for an indigenous software tool the company is developing. He was also an active
participant in the company’s exhibit booth of World Environmental Exhibition 2022 at Delhi.
He also tries to develop a set of complete inventories for cosmetic products like face powder,
cream and lotion.

His strengths are self-motivation, interpersonal and communication skills, moral character,
sincerity, proactiveness, and dedication. He also possesses fairly well, study skills, ability to
take responsibilities, inquisitiveness, ability to assess and evaluate a situation/task, planning,
time management, and execution. Areas where he has potential to improve are punctuality
and ability to go deep in a topic.

It was nice to have Mr. Avnish Kumar as an intern at UTOPIIC Innovations, and we wish him a
bright future.
