About Eulogists:
What are Eulogists?
Eulogists are superhuman beings that make up 10% of the
world’s population. Their names are derived from great
men in history. Only real historical can be Eulogists.
Being the sibling of a Eulogist increases the change of
you being the Eulogist. Though it’s not 100%.
Eulogies Resurrect during puberty, except for when “The
Dawn” occurred. 10% of people of all ages got a Eulogy.
When someone gets a Eulogy, it’s called a Resurrection
It has been noted that the percentage of the population
being Eulogists will never rise above 10%

When did they appear?

They appeared in the year 2030. After a “mining
incident” in the Philippines. This released the Energy
of the World into the natural environment. Giving
Eulogies to all sufficiently large Multicellular life.
Cats are the smallest animal they can be granted to.
Since animals haven’t made scientific endeavors, nor
are a lot of them extremely famous, animal Eulogies
just grant them the ability to use Energy. AKA Animo.

Why are there Eulogists?

The Dawn released a lot of Energy to the world which
the Earth knew its inhabitants could not reasonably
survive in. So it created a system where some of its
inhabitants would be able to use this Energy.
Minimizing the strain Energy would have on its other
inhabitants.
Excess energy to people whose bodies aren’t meant to
wield it can damage their body.
How are the Eulogists?
They are not doing great. Due to Energy’s somewhat
toxic effect on normal living beings, they are
separated into a different part of human habitation.
This has led to ostracization of Eulogists. Governments
also had to move people out of these areas, further
angering residents. This generational hate has
continued for a really long time.
Because of their power, people lose their jobs to the
more capable Eulogists. Making people extremely angry.
Because of fear of their power, people generally avoid
them. And some even demand that Eulogists are put under
control.
Blame usually gets passed onto Eulogists when something
bad occurs involving a Eulogist. This happens because
they believe that these men and women with great power,
must bear the responsibility of their actions. But
usually, Eulogists bear so much responsibility that
they cannot keep up.
When a family member gets a Eulogy, they are
immediately handed off to the government. Some families
do this because they fear their child. Others, to
protect their child. And more commonly, it’s a mix
between multiple factors.
Government Eulogists are slightly more respected than
Civilian Eulogists, since they are more “controlled”
than other kinds of Eulogists.
Eulogists accept the world they live in. Simply because
that’s how the world has always been. And they may not
be happy, but they believe that they make others happy
and they think that that is good enough for them.
Where can you find Eulogists?
Eulogists work in a variety of places. The only ones
that are seen in public however are “hero” type
Eulogists. Eulogists used for marketing and showing
off. An example of this would be Jeff.
Other than that, the rest are kept as secret as
possible. They are essentially walking nukes after all.
Companies also keep them secret when they do hire them.
This is because they do not want the public to see that
they hire Eulogists. People really do not want
Eulogists “stealing” their jobs.
