Inspection
1. Inspect clearance between camshaft journal
and cylinder head cover hole.
1 Measure the camshaft journal outer
diameter.
2 Measure the camshaft cylinder head
cover hole inner diameter.
3 Camshaft cylinder head cover hole inner
diameter - Camshaft journal outer diameter
= Clearance between camshaft journal and
cylinder head cover hole
Standard clearance: 0.03 mm - 0.08 mm
Limit clearance: 0.11 mm
2. Inspect the camshaft runout clearance.
1 Install camshaft, camshaft retaining ring
and snap ring.
2 Measure the camshaft runout clearance
with a dial indicator.
Standard clearance: 0.23 mm - 0.50 mm
Limit clearance: 0.65 mm

1. Install oil filler guide pipe washer and oil
filler guide pipe.
Torque: 80 N·m
