POSITION PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Role Description: Product Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver product releases and project milestones


• Perform holistic industry analysis and develop an overall functional understanding of the
product/project
• Build vision, strategy, and roadmaps according to the requirements and create contingency
strategies
• Partake in requirement gathering, creating user stories, and prioritizing product backlogs
• Be instrumental in the analysis, design, and building of critical business applications with a wide
range of technologies
• Perform effective stakeholder management, risk management, planning, continuous
improvement, and nurture innovation within the team
• Influence and resolve conflicts with others independently
• Effectively lead cross-functional internal and external teams
• Assist the project heads in requirement elicitation, system study, demos, and research as
required
• Create insightful presentations and documents
• Ensure that business case and customer satisfaction goals are met
• Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement
• Prepare budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements

Desirables:

• Ability to formulate client's business needs into BRDs, to help the delivery team to build the
product
• Ability to work and manage multiple stakeholders and ensure requirements of every stakeholder
is captured
• Practical understanding of project management tools like JIRA and Trello
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, and their application in business and
technical environments
• Awareness of new and emerging technologies
• Experience with cross-functional teams including design engineers, developers, QA engineers,
DevOps, etc.
• Expertise in developing budgets, tracking time and expenses, and calculating revenue
• Proven problem-solving mindset
• Deliverables include presenting demos to prospective clients and functional level discussions on
product, process, features, and benefits
• Candidates with IT/CS engineering degree and/or IT work experience are preferred
